Dr. Zvi Zisbrod received his training in General & Cardiovascular surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and NYU Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Zisbrod was the head of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Division at the SUNY Downstate Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. He later held the directorship of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Division at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. During his tenure, he advanced and preformed complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Over the past decade, the understanding of the importance of vein health and function has grown. Great progress has been made in treating and correcting malfunctions of the vein system where advanced, minimally invasive laser treatment modalities replaced traditional surgical procedures.
