Sclerotherapy is a technique in which these spider veins are injected with a solution that uses the smallest needles. This solution causes the veins to collapse, stop working and gradually be absorbed by the body.
Laser Skin Treatment
Skin laser treatment uses a laser pencil that burns these unpleasant veins, one by one.
Microphlebectomy
Microphlebectomy is a method by which these veins are removed through small holes the size of a needle.
There is no pain associated with these treatments as I use local anesthetic cream and local skin cooling. All three of these modalities in combination have the potential to achieve the best results. The best combination of these modalities is tailored to each specific spider vein and depends on size, thickness and location.
